Become a Volunteer

The Hindu Society of Ottawa‐Carleton (HSOC) is run by a group of volunteers, some working full time and some retired, who volunteer their time for the benefit of the community. Our uniqueness is that there is minimal administrative overhead charged to the donors. Most of the overhead is picked up by members of the Executive Committee through their own contributions, so the entire donation is disbursed to the beneficiaries for whom it is meant.

We are always looking for volunteers to join our team to help spread the awareness about HSOC, help raise funds and thereby help the people in need.If you have a passion to make a difference for less-privileged section of our society and are willing to contribute some of your time and helpful energy, please write to us at “hindusocietyottawa@gmail.com” and we will be very glad to provide you with the next steps that you can take towards a greater cause.We welcome you to be part of HSOC as members of the Advisory Council or as members of the Executive Committee. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
